Health and fitness are essential for creating a better
quality of life. Health is considered the general condition of one’s
physical body. Physical health can be affected by a number of things;
diet, exercise, and the weather just to name a few. Mental wellness
also plays a large role in ones overall wholeness and can also be affected
by different factors, also being affected by diet and exercise.
Health and fitness go hand in hand, in order to have one the other
has to be present. Both the mind and body need stimulation to be considered
fit. As previously mentioned there are several different elements that
effect wellness. Introducing proper regimens into ones daily routine
can increase energy and decrease stress levels. Activities such as having
a diet rich in fruits, veggies, and lean meat, and being active enough
to increase the natural heart rate help secrete anti-stress hormones.
Proper health and fitness habits can be a conscious daily choice. Little
elements such as buying a yoga mat and home fitness DVD can be an inexpensive
way to increase circulation promoting wellness. Eating organic foods
instead of food that is saturated in hormones and chemicals is also
a way to slightly modify ones daily habits for the better that will
have a drastic effect on health for the better.
